John Flanaghan

Director

John qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the Birmingham office of a large accountancy firm, and after fulfilling senior roles with other firms of accountants, set up his own practice in the 1980's. Following a period of years as a partner in a medium sized practice of chartered accountants, John re-established his own practice as JFA in 2003. He has been running his own business and assisting clients to run theirs for many years.

He specialises in dealing with anything related to the accounts and tax affairs of small and medium sized businesses and individuals.

Mary Rouse

Office Manager

Mary has many years experience of working in accountancy practices and is often the first port of call for day to day queries on matters such as PAYE Codes, Tax Demands, Companies House correspondence and the like.

She handles many of the Self-Assessment Tax Returns that we deal with, as well as company secretarial matters, and has also become an expert on Tax and VAT online filing issues in recent years!   

Other Staff

We have a small team of people who deal with book-keeping, payroll and VAT matters for clients and who can help with queries on these areas. We use Sage Accounts and Payroll software ourselves and so are familiar with the sort of problems that can crop up on a day to day basis in this respect.
